The completed instructions are below and also a more detailed description of how to complete the centre stand modification. The instructions have been obtained directly from SE. The instructions are in English and we have provided the translated French version below. Please note the kit and instruction manual does not include a headset, but we will provide instructions for the installation of a headset when one is requested.
We provide the centre stand as a complete unit, with all needed bolts and washers, detailed in the fully pictured instruction manual. The stand is complete and ready to install. If you are in need of a centre stand, we can provide complete kits with our parts and instructions. We do not provide complete kits from the factory in the market. However we can provide kits for many other bike models!
This kit is intended for DIY use only. You can install the center stand without modifying the bike. However, if you are installing the stand on an existing bike, you will need to modify the shock to fit the expanded stand width. This kit is not intended to be installed on a bike with a V-brake. Centre stand assemblies require a top load brake where as V-brakes are a side load brake and can not be installed on most centre stand kits.
We provide the parts and instructions to complete these modifications to the centre stand. This involves fabricating the stand and cutting out the lowered amount. We provide steel sleeves (as shown in picture) for ease of alignment and welding, resulting in a factory level job that is super strong. Centre stand sleeves/parts are included with the kit and are detailed in the fully pictured instruction manual.
