Miranda Garvin

Miranda is our Salon Founder and your number one expert for all your beauty related needs.
Born in Texas and proud to call Beaufort, SC her home for over 18 years; this "Military Brat" is honored to serve the Low Country through the hair industry! She has been in the cosmetology industry for over 10 years. However, her experience in the industry goes back much further than that.

Her mother is a cosmetologist and former Cosmetology Instructor, with over thirty years of experience. Miranda was cutting her mother's hair by the time she was 14 years of age. Her mother has inspired her in this industry so much that Miranda decided in 2021 to advance her career and became a certified Cosmetology Instructor and CEU Educator!

She wants every guest to walk out of Living Color feeling and looking their absolute best!
Angel Heath
Salon Director | Sylist | Make Up Artist
Looking to get professional insight on a look that would be perfect for you? Speak with our Salon Director, Make up Artist and Stylist; Angel Heath, for any input or guidance. She gives thorough consultations with all of her guests to ensure that they receive exactly what they're looking for.

Born and raised in Beaufort, Angel pursued her dream of being a stylist directly after high school and received her training at the Technical College of the Low Country. She has been an employee of Living Color Salon since April of 2016.
​
She performs a variety of services from color and cuts to facial waxes and makeup. She also preforms cuts on men and children as well! She is trained in the art of ombré and bayalage, as well as being certified in the Brazilian Blowout Smoothing Treatment.
Elizabeth Dowling
Stylist
A Beaufort, South Carolina born native.
Elizabeth grew up in the salon. Her mother is a cosmetologist and still works in the industry. It was a few years ago that she realized her love for creativity and a desire to make people feel their best.
Elizabeth has over 3 years of experience in the industry.
She has a four year old son named Ryder and lives just minutes from Living Color Salon!
In the next five years, she sees herself expanding on all techniques and living her best life!
Elizabeth says that her favorite service to do would have to be ANY coloring service.
Heather Nelson-Chapman
Stylist | Writer
Heather is an Augusta, Georgia native, but spent most of her childhood out west—graduating high school near Denver, CO. She has a 4-yr college degree and went on to spend years as a stay-at-home mom and busy at-home writer.
After marrying her husband Michael in 2021, they combined to become a real-life Brady bunch. Seven kids, a dog, two busy careers, and a new place to call home—Beaufort.
Heather graduated Paul Mitchell the School of Rexburg. She enjoys blonding and all things color. And, she is also certified in microblading brows. Follow her on instagram @styles.by.heather
