Miranda is our Salon Founder and your number one expert for all your beauty related needs.
Born in Texas and proud to call Beaufort, SC her home for 20+ years; this "Military Brat" is honored to serve the Low Country through the hair and wellness industry!
She has been in the cosmetology industry for 15 years. However, her experience in the industry goes back much further than that.Her mother is a cosmetologist and former Cosmetology Instructor, with over thirty years of experience. Her mother has inspired her in this industry so much that Miranda decided in 2021 to advance her career and became a certified Cosmetology Instructor and CEU Educator! She wants every guest to walk out of Living Color feeling and looking their absolute best!
Miranda is not currently accepting new guests onto her schedule. However, she welcomes consultations to find the right creative at Living Color for you!

Caroline Marek
Classic Creative
Meet one of our busiest creatives within our collective, Caroline! She is a native to Beaufort with a family history of hairdressers. Caroline has been in the industry over two years now and is excited to continue to grow at Living Color.
Her mother is a local stylist who has owned a well-known local salon in the past. This young woman knows her way around a salon and within the industry. Caroline stays busy with and LOVES all things redheads and haircuts! She also enjoys blonding, all color services, and is certified in Brazilian Blowout.
Elizabeth Dowling
Signature Creative
A Beaufort, South Carolina born native. Elizabeth grew up in the salon. Her mother is a cosmetologist and still works in the industry within our collective! Elizabeth has over 5 years of experience in the industry. She has two sons and works part time while taking care of her boys. Liz does a wonderful job with bobs and blonding services.
Savanna Fowler
Signature Creative
Savanna is a dedicated cosmetologist with a strong focus on scalp health, advanced color services and the care of all hair textures. As a certified Scalp Health Specialist and Brazilian Blowout–certified professional, she brings a highly trained and detail-oriented approach to every client experience.
Savanna received her education from Empire Beauty School in 2018, where she built a strong foundation in both technical skill and client care. During her training—and in the months following graduation—she gained hands-on experience assisting in a high-end salon, refining her expertise in luxury services and modern techniques.
Known for her commitment to healthy hair and personalized color results, Savanna combines technical knowledge with a passion for helping clients feel confident in their natural beauty. She continues to expand her education to stay current with industry innovations and best practices.
Ryleigh Mixson
Junior Creative
Ryleigh is a native to the Lowcountry and graduated from the Paul Mitchell Institute in Charleston in the summer of 2025. After the completion of her assisting program at Living Color by Spring of 2026, she will be opening her books to you!
She is currently accepting shampoo, blowouts at a generously discounted rate along with toner refresh and scalp and conditioning treatments.

Jennifer Dowling
Signature Creative
Jennifer and our salon owner, Miranda worked together for over three years at Lime Lite salon before working at Living Color. With over 15 years of experience, Jennifer is well versed in all haircuts and works very well with color services. She works part time and accepts new guests when available.
