Miranda's Doing Something NEW!

Dear Living Color Salon Family,

For over 15 years, it has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve this community behind the chair. From first haircuts and wedding days to career changes, celebrations, heartbreaks, and fresh starts, so many of you have allowed me to be part of your story while being such a big part of mine. I am deeply grateful for the trust you have placed in me throughout the years.

Today, I am excited to share some wonderful news.

Beginning in August, I will be stepping into a new role as a Cosmetology Instructor at the Technical College of the Lowcountry, where I will have the opportunity to help educate and mentor the next generation of beauty professionals. Teaching has been a long-time dream of mine, and this opportunity feels like a natural extension of the work I have always loved most—helping others grow, learn, and thrive.

While I will continue seeing guests at Living Color Salon, my availability behind the chair will become more limited. As a result, my pricing will increase beginning in August to reflect the demand for the reduced number of appointments available. 

I understand that changes like this can bring mixed emotions, but I want you to know that one of my greatest priorities is ensuring every guest continues to receive exceptional care and beautiful results.

Over the years, I have intentionally built and mentored an incredible team of talented professionals. Each Creative at Living Color Salon has completed extensive education, training, and hands-on development to uphold the standards and guest experience our salon is known for. While our Creatives offer services at varying price points based on their education and experience level, every one of them is capable of providing outstanding service and beautiful hair. In the coming weeks, I will be personally recommending guests to team members whom I believe are the best fit for their hair goals, personality, schedule, and budget. My hope is that this transition feels seamless and that you discover the same level of trust and confidence with the talented professionals I have had the privilege of mentoring.

Living Color Salon has never been about ONE creative. It has always been about creating a space where all guests and all creatives feel cared for, confident, and inspired. This next chapter allows me to continue serving both our industry and our community in an even greater capacity while ensuring the salon continues to grow and thrive.

If you already have appointments prebooked with me at this time, rest assured that appointments on Mondays and Fridays will remain the same. Any appointments that are scheduled Tuesday through Thursday after August 10th, will receive a call this week with options for myself and two creatives that I would recommend for you if our schedules do not align.
